CONNECTING TO LOVE ~ DAY #9

Whether or not you consider yourself to be a grateful person, there is always an opportunity for introspection and growth.

Connecting to Love: Day 9 ~ Grateful

Gratitude, thankfulness, gratefulness, or appreciation is a feeling or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive.
Living a state of perpetual gratitude liberate yourself from limiting self-doubt and allow love to flow freely and effortlessly into your life, creating a calm, cool confidence to stride towards your dreams.
we can deliberately cultivate gratitude, and can increase our well-being and happiness by doing so. People are generally happier when they have gratitude in their hearts.

Becoming more loving of those we love can be glorious or a chore. Instead of being a complainer, express gratitude for all of the people in your life and become a listener. We should be thankful for the wonderful blessings that are ours and for the tremendous opportunities we have. We can be thankful to our parents, family, friends, and teachers. We should express appreciation to everyone who has assisted us in any way.
Gratitude is a powerful attitude to help strengthen relationships. The grateful person finds happiness in the everyday and it attracts others into their joy, their loving-kindness.
Expressing gratitude can bring a positive and loving feeling into our everyday lives. It not only lifts our spirits when we’re down, it brings joy and inner peace into our hearts and allows us to tap into a well of happiness that dwells deep within our core.
The benefits of gratitude include deeper love connections to happiness, and improved physical and mental health.
If you practice gratitude, you will eventually become more grateful.

Expressing gratitude is one of the simplest things we can do for ourselves that is completely free and within our grasp. We need only make the conscious choice to express it…to make it a habit.

DAYLY QUOTE:

“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.”

ACTION:
Spend a little time every day counting your blessings however little you feel you have. Be grateful for everything, even the difficult times because you learn from good and bad and gain strength by overcoming adversity.

"Thank you" to someone for what they've done for you, what they've inspired in you, or maybe even just for being a great friend, roommate,
coworker, driver or the waiter.

I invite you to practice gratitude daily. Make it a habit, in the morning when you wake and at night before you sleep.

Write in a daily journal the affirmation:
"I have so much in life to be Thankful for"
Write a list of your blessings and a list of gratitude (things, persons, etc that you re grateful).
