Exist one kind of love that without him we can't live - from and to Mother Earth. Today I suggest a celebration of Love of our home Planet Mother Earth.
Connecting to Love: Day 13 ~ Mother Earth Love
The Earth provides us with all we need to exist and asks for nothing in return.
We are all part of the environment and what we do to the environment, we also do to ourselves, as well as to our future generations.
John Muir wrote “Keep close to Nature’s heart, yourself; and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean. ... Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.”
According Thich Nhat Hanh "You carry Mother Earth within you.
She is not outside of you. Mother Earth is not just your environment. In that insight of inter-being, it is possible to have real communication with the Earth, which is the highest form of prayer. In that kind of relationship you have enough love, strength and awakening in order to change your life. Changing is not just changing the things outside of us. First of all we need the right view that transcends all notions including of being and non-being, creator and creature, mind and spirit. That kind of insight is crucial for transformation and healing.Connecting to Love: Day 13 ~ Mother Earth Love

According Thich Nhat Hanh "You carry Mother Earth within you.
Fear, separation, hate and anger come from the wrong view that you and the Earth are two separate entities, the Earth is only the environment. You are in the centre and you want to do something for the Earth in order for you to survive. That is a dualistic way of seeing. So to breathe in and be aware of your body and look deeply into it and realise you are the Earth and your consciousness is also the consciousness of the Earth. Not to cut the tree not to pollute the water, that is not enough.
When we recognise the virtues, the talent, the beauty of Mother Earth, something is born in us, some kind of connection, love is born. We want to be connected. That is the meaning of love, to be at one. When you love someone you want to say I need you, I take refuge in you. You do anything for the benefit of the Earth and the Earth will do anything for your wellbeing."
DAYLY QUOTE:
"Where there is love there is life."
~ Mahatma Gandhi
ACTION:
Think about all gifts (Love) you received from Mother Earth.
Be grateful for all her Love and repeat:
"My whole being sends you constant gratitude, eternally, for your beauty, your awesomeness,
Thanks to Mother Earth, which sustains us.
Thanks to the sun, that to gives us their light and heat.
Thanks to the rivers and lakes, which supply us with water.
Thanks to all herbs, which furnish medicines for the cure of our diseases.
I give myself to you, to protect you, to love you, to honour you in every way I can."
Show your love for our Mother Earth:
- Eat healthy, with less meat and sugar, and more fruits and vegetables
- Buy organic cotton clothing, fruits and vegetables, and other goods
- Cut your consumption, and recycle everything you can
- Use environmentally friendly cleaning products in your home
- Strive to eliminate plastic from your life
- Take personal responsibility for the energy you use each day
- Stop using pesticides
- Educate yourself about the environmental concerns...
Write in a daily journal a list of gifts you received from Mother Earth and a list of what you can do for Her.
