Recipe type: Cough
Much better than tea onion, onion syrup relieves itching and stinging faster throat. Sloppy nose, soothes cough and is a good expectorant. It is recommended in flus and colds in productive cough and dry.
Onion syrup is a very good natural cough syrup and easy to do:
5 yellow onions, large (choose organic to avoid pesticides)
3 heaping tablespoons of sugar
500 ml water (2 cups water)
Instructions:
Wash the onions with all peel and crush or slice.

In a pot with lid cook onion in water and sugar to a simmer.
Boil about 30 minutes, until the water falls almost in half.
Strain syrup onion in a cup. Should go out a cup of syrup.
Onion syrup prepared with all the bark has a dark yellow color to red and has more properties than prepared bark.
How to use:
Drink 3-4 tablespoons per day, and children 3 teaspoons a day.
