Just Love

"Start to Love now, this moment. Open your heart and Love. Let it flow. The more you open up, the more your mind is pure, the more your mind is positive, the more loving you will become, and the more Love you will be able to give."
                                                       ~ Sri Swami Vishwananda

Just Love. In short, that is the simple and powerful teaching of Sri Swami Vishwananda. Yes, just love! LOVE is all you need, LOVE is all there is, LOVE is all you have to do. Love contains everything, the entire universe. And everything Swami cares for is the unchangeable bond of Love between Creator and Creation.

The Kingdom of God is made of one thing only: Just Love.

When "Love" is mentioned here, it is non other than Divine Love. Our ultimate goal is to attain it and live it – again. We say "again", because in essence we are already non other than Love itself. The very essence of our being is Love. Love that can neither be understood nor described, and so two words consisting out of eight letters are probably the best way to limit the language of the mind which by its nature cannot grasp the unlimited through mental concepts. However through the language of the heart, through singing songs of Love, through feeling the Lord and His Love for us inside of ourselves, where we can engage in a dialogue heart to heart, we can reciprocate His Love, and we can unite and "understand" him at a deep level, since He is the very essence of us.

Divine Love is intrinsically part of the human heart. It gives without limit, questions or hesitation, to everyone, even one's own Self. Divine Love is much more than mere feelings, and it is much deeper than anything else one can experience. It is not bound by cause and effect, nor by time. It shines not to receive something in return, for it is selfless. Yet, the person who lives Divine Love has joy, happiness, peace, wisdom, and complete freedom of fear and self-imposed limitations. When such Love has taken possession of a person's entire being, we enter a state that can be referred to as "Self-Realised".

"Open up the mind, surrender it to Him, and let the Love which you have inside of you flow. If you have not yet attained this Love, do everything to attain it, because that's who you are and that's what you are here for."
                                                   ~ Sri Swami Vishwananda

Divine Love is not bound by any religion, as it is found in all, however one does not need to be religious to experience Divine Love. It does not matter if we are theists, agnostics or atheists. Divine Love is Unconditional Love, and everyone has experienced it at sometime in their life.

Imagine a day in your life where everything was perfect. Maybe it was your wedding day, maybe it was the day your child was born, or maybe it was the day you graduated. For each of us, the day is unique, yet unforgettable. Remember the feeling of complete freedom. No thoughts of the future, not thoughts of the past. Everything made sense, and everything was beautiful. Remember the joy and peace. This day, you were in love. This type of Love (we like to give it a capital L) is different from the love we have only for a person or a thing, which is of temporary nature. This type of Love is for life itself is everlasting. It is true, it is real. It is vast and all encompassing. There is no beginning and no end. It never fades and it is given freely.

Everyone has experienced this Love, and everyone has this Love inside. The only thing holding us back form living Divine Love are the judgments of the mind, primarily judgments about ourselves. If we observe an acorn, would we label it as imperfect? No. We know that the acorn has not reached their full potential, yet we do not judge it as bad, incomplete, or imperfect. The same is for us. We are all perfect and beautiful; unique expressions of life. We may not have attained our full potential, but that does not mean we are not perfect, that we are not worthy of Love. This perfection, this beauty, this Love, cannot be seen with the physical eyes, it cannot be understood with the mind. It can only be understood with the eyes of the heart, eyes of Divine Love.

This is the purpose of life, the goal of Sri Swami Vishwananda's mission, to help us realise and live this inner perfection and beauty, and to live Divine Love. Every word, every action, every moment of Swamiji's life is imbued with Divine Love. He is Love Incarnate, Love in Person - Premavatar. Everyone who meets Him is touched deeply in their soul by it.

We encourage you to let him touch you, too, and make you want to become again that which you already are, always have been, always will be - just Love.

“…It’s not what we see outside. It’s not what we judge in the outside with our minds, but, for once, truly listen to your heart, really listen to the call of your heart.
The call of your heart will reflect the call of your soul, and only when you listen carefully to that not listening to the mind, not saying “yes” to the mind, when it says “I want Realisation”, without knowing what it is.
The mind doesn’t comprehend certain things. The mind doesn’t even comprehend what Love is, so how do you think the mind will comprehend what is greater even than Love itself?...”

Gratitude & Love

Have humans beings lived in a ratio of two parts gratitude and one part love? I suspect that the opposite is true.”

~ Dr. Masaru Emoto

"Love needs to be based in gratitude, and gratitude needs to be based in love. These two words together create the most important vibration. And it is even more important that we understand the value of these words. For example, we know that water is described as H2O. If we were to look at love and gratitude as a pair, gratitude is the H and love is the O. Water is the basis that not only supports but also allows the existence of life. In my understanding of the concept of yin and yang, in the same way that there is one O and two Hs, we also need one part yang/love to two parts yin/gratitude, in order to come to a place of balance in the equation.
Love is an active word and gratitude is passive. When you think of gratitude -- a combination of appreciation and thankfulness -- there is an apologetic quality. The Japanese word for gratitude is kan-sha, consisting of two Chinese characters: kan, which means feeling, and sha, apology. It's coming from a reverential space, taking a step or two back. I believe that love coming from this space is optimal love, and may even lead to an end to the wars and conflicts in the world. Kan-sha is inherent in the substance H2O -- an essential element for life" ~ Dr. Masaru Emoto

"When we love our own bodies, they respond. When we send our love to the Earth, she responds.
For our own bodies at birth are 70 percent water, and the percentage of water in our bodies remains high throughout life (depending upon weight and body type). Also, the earth's surface is 70 percent water. And now we have seen before our eyes the proof that water is far from inanimate, but is actually alive and responsive to our every thought and emotion. Perhaps, having seen this, we can begin to really understand the awesome power that we possess, through choosing our thoughts and intentions, to heal ourselves and the earth. If only we believe."

Honey ~ The Golden Liquid

Honey is a sweet food made by bees using néctar from flowers.
It is known as Honig in Dutch, Miele in Italian, Shahad in Hindi, Miel in French and Spanish, Mel in Portuguese, мед in Russian, and μελι in Greek. There is almost no part in the world where honey is not widely used and celebrated as a part of the cultural diet.
Honey has had a long history in human consumption, and is used in various foods and beverages as a sweetener and flavoring. It also has a role in religion and symbolism.

Humans apparently began hunting for honey at least 8,000 years ago, as evidenced by a cave painting in Valencia, Spain. The painting is a Mesolithic rock painting, showing two honey-hunters collecting honey and honeycomb from a wild bee nest.

In ancient Egypt, honey was used to sweeten cakes and biscuits, and was used in many other dishes. In the absence of sugar, Honey was an integral sweetening ingredient in Roman recipes.

The spiritual and therapeutic use of honey in ancient India is documented in both the Vedas and the Ayurveda texts, which were both composed at least 4000 years ago.

Some cultures believed honey had many practical health uses. It was used as an ointment for rashes and burns, and to help soothe sore throats when no other practices were available.
In Islam, there is an entire Surah in the Qur’na called an-Nahl (the Bee). According to hadith, Prophet Muhammad strongly recommended honey for healing purposes. The Qur'an promotes honey as a nutritious and healthy food. Below is the English translation of those specific verses.

"And thy Lord taught the Bee to build its cells in hills, on trees, and in (men's) habitations; Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought" [Al-Quran 16:68–69].

The healing powers of honey have been around for centuries, but you might be surprised how many health benefits you can get from this kitchen staple.

Scientific knowledge, which has been reached in recent years, tells us that daily consumption of honey, at least one teaspoon a day, provides a number of beneficial effects on human health.

Honey is the most accessible bee product used since ancient times. It is also called “the gold of nature˝, and “forgotten treasure of history”.Honey was the first sweet taste that mankind tasted.

It’s a sweet, thick, viscous liquid or crystallized substance that people didn’t successes to produce on
industrial way. Unlike ordinary sugar that is just “raw energy”, honey contains simple, easily digestible sugars fructose and glucose, followed by vitamins, minerals, proteins, ferments, plant hormones, flavonoids.

Honey is mixture mainly of carbohydrates and water, and in small quantities containing organic acids, minerals, vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and other substances. 75-80% of honey is mixture of simple sugars or monosaccharides (Glucose and fructose) and complex sugars (disaccharides, oligosaccharides).

Glucose and fructose are simple and easily digestible sugars, which are directly carried in the blood (an excellent source of energy). Glucose can easily crystallize, is not hydroscopic and about 20% is less sweet than fructose.

Honey contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, Bc, E, K, C and carotene in very small quantities.

This golden liquid has been shown to help fix ailments ranging from a pesky cough to a painful wound.

Historically, honey has been used by humans both orally and topically to treat various ailments including gastric disturbances, ulcers, wounds, and burns.

Research suggests that raw honey's active phytonutrients. The phytonutrients in raw honey have antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties that may help boost your immune system and fight sickness.

For people who are overweight or obese, honey not only reduces risk of cardiovascular disorders, it also does not increase the body weight.

Honey has been promoted as being potentially of use in the treatment of cancer. However, while experiments have found honey can - in common with many substances - kill cancer cells in the laboratory, there is no evidence of its benefit treating cancer in people.
There is little evidence for or against honey as treatment of coughs for children. The UK authorities recommend "a warm drink of lemon and honey or a simple cough syrup that contains glycerol or honey" in children instead, but warn that honey should not be given to very young children because of the risk of infant botulism.

The glucose in honey is absorbed by the body quickly and gives an immediate energy boost, while the fructose is absorbed more slowly providing sustained energy. It is known that honey has also been found to keep levels of blood sugar fairly constant compared to other types of sugar.

So, to experience these health benefits of honey, here are a few tips for you:

1. Next time before you go for a workout, take a spoon of honey to enable you to go for the extra mile.

2. If you are feeling low and lethargic in the morning, instead of reaching out for a can of carbonated energy drink, try honey. Spread it on hot toast or replace the sugar in your tea with it for a refreshing surge of energy.

3. If your kids are finding hard to cope with the physical strain from the buzzing activities at school, prepare them some sandwiches with honey, butter and ham to make sure they have enough energy to sustain through the day.
